Boyle off to Blair Academy

LOWELL -- Sean Boyle will never lose a wrestling match at Lowell High School.
And that's not necessarily great news for fans of the defending New England champions.
Boyle, who went 54-0 at 112 pounds last season, did not return for his junior season at Lowell High. He has transferred to Blair Academy, a 420-student school in Blairstown, N.J., which Lowell High coach Tim O'Keefe termed the nation's No. 1 prep school wrestling program.
"He actually loved Lowell High. He had a big hand in us winning a New England title, which was a great accomplishment for the school and the city. (But) Blair is always sending kids to the top 10 schools in the country," O'Keefe said. "From Blair Academy I think he's going to be a top-five (college) recruit in two years. I have a buddy at Ohio State and they already know who he is. Trust me, you're going to read about him."
Boyle attended Loomis-Chafee, a Connecticut prep school, his freshman year, then transferred to Lowell. He made his one year at Lowell High count. In addition
to winning an individual New England title, he collected All-State, Division 1 state, Division 1 North Sectional and Lowell Holiday championships.
