Adam Frey '05 has died after a 2-year battle with cancer

Adam Frey '05 died on December 26, after a valiant two-year battle with cancer. From Pittsburgh PA, Adam was an outstanding Blair wrestler and student who was also a uniquely sensitive, loyal and ambitious young man. As those of you who have followed his progress the past two years on his blog know, he was also a fighter to the end. After Blair, Adam attended Cornell University and was a two-time NCAA qualifying wrestler. Adam's brother, Garrett, Blair '08, is now a freshman at Princeton University. Many of the wrestlers will remember Mrs. Frey and all that she did to support Blair wrestling and wrestlers when Adam and Garrett were at Blair. Coach Buxton drove out to Pittsburgh this past Monday to see Adam.

The entire Blair community is deeply saddened by the loss of Adam. Our thoughts are with Garrett and his family, for Adam was a special part of Blair and the class of 2005.
