Nathan Healy ’09 Pitches No-Hitter
Blair baseball scored a unique victory on May 6, as head Coach Jim Stone reports a no-hitter that day by pitcher Nathan Healy, adding that no-hitters are extremely rare in Blair’s baseball history. The Bucs defeated Morris Knolls 1-0, for a 13-5 record. “Nate’s performance added a huge hit for Blair in a great baseball game,” said Stone. “Nathan was nearly perfect on the mound, as he struck out 11 and put one hitter on base in the sixth inning with a hit-by-pitch. Blair needed his tremendous performance because the Morris Knolls pitcher was almost as good, throwing a two-hitter. Nathan also had the big hit for the Bucs, blasting a solo homerun in the second inning which accounted for all of the scoring of the day.
