The Blair Academy Singers performed Luminosity: Music of Light and Enlightenment on April 11 at The Philadelphia Cathedral. The concert brought together two of Rider University’s Westminster choral ensembles, as well as the Blair Singers and the ArcheDream Dance Theater, in the world premiere of a work by renowned British composer James Whitbourn. Centering on the themes of timeless wisdom and transcendent beauty and using texts drawn from many faiths, this luminous work for multiple choirs, dancers, percussion and organ was staged in the glorious space of The Philadelphia Cathedral. A Blair reception took place prior to the concert at The International House.
