Annual Alumni Hockey Game (PHOTOS)

On Saturday, January 5, at Chillout Sports Arena in Hackettstown, NJ, Blair's former hockey players played Blair's hockey team. Although the score was close up until the 3rd period, Blair’s high school team had more steam and ran up the score to a 12 -7 victory. Scoring for the alumni were: Eric Magac (Taft School recruit) with a hat trick, Matt Pruznick '05 with two goals and Corey Minerva '06 and Eric Maine '77 with one goal apiece.
The alumni who participated included: Corey Minerva '06, Matt Pruznick '05, John McGrath '03, Andrew Pearce '02, Chris Strickland '98, Mike McDonald '97, Jon Liegner '80, Eric Maine '77, Wayne Applegate '77, Scott McKee '77, Jeff Liegner '76, Bill Pitts '76, Greg Sozek '77 and Mike Holenstein '77.
An informal gathering and awards ceremony took place following the game at Charlie Brown's Steakhouse in Hackettstown. Jeff Liegner '76 presented awards to: Matt Pruznick '05 for Most Valuable Player, John McGrath '03 for Best Looking Award, Eric Magac for Best Play of the Game, and Best Water Boy went to Harley Wedholm Maine.
